We are part of the Swisstainable movement. The Alexander and Gerbi hotels bear the Swisstainable label from Switzerland Tourism. This distinguishes tourism businesses that deal with environmentally conscious action. You can find out exactly what that is in the video.

Together with "cause we care" from myclimate, we are committed to a sustainable future.
We will double the CHF 2.00 that you donate with your booking. 3/4 of this goes into our fund, which we use to make the Hotels Alexander & Gerbi even more sustainable. We use 1/4 to support Schnarwiler SWISS MADE cosmetics from Weggis. For every refill cosmetic product sold, Schnarwiler makes a significant contribution to this organization that fights against plastic pollution worldwide.

Planned
In order to improve our climate balance, a seawater pump for heat generation is planned for all buildings. The planning application for this was submitted in July 2021. The canton of Lucerne requested a survey from the community to determine the desired kilowatt capacity. We are waiting for the municipal decision.
